Dozens of the Midlands’ leading retail property agents enjoyed a night of magic and retail-themed cocktails when London & Cambridge Properties (LCP) held its annual social event, in conjunction with the Shop Agent Society (SAS).

More than 60 agents – some of whom travelled from Liverpool and London for the event – enjoyed rooftop drinks in the early evening sunshine when they met at The Church pub, in Hockley, Birmingham, and were entertained by close-up magician Magic Singh, who thrilled those attending with his sleight-of-hand tricks.

Those attending included agents from Lambert Smith Hampton, DTZ, Burley Browne, GVA, and Cushman & Wakefield.

Jo Salmon, retail portfolio manager of LCP, said: “It’s always good to catch up with everyone in a social setting and it was a great way to mark what has been a busy 12 months for our retail team, which has expanded and realised lots of new business opportunities.”

LCP owns and manages retail properties across the UK and in Europe. They include town centre shopping schemes in the North West including The Concourse Shopping Centre, Skelmersdale, and The Hardshaw Centre, St Helens. In addition, it also owns and manages the Wulfrun Centre, Wolverhampton; Churchill Centre, Dudley; Park Place, Walsall; and Aldridge in the West Midlands and the Wellington Centre, Aldershot, in the South.

The retail portfolio comprises properties located across the UK, comprising more than 205 retail sites, 1,590 retail units and in excess of 4 million sq ft.

Among its new initiatives is Local Convenience Parades, which focuses on the local convenience shopping sector.
