A West Midlands-based global distributor of industrial fasteners has doubled its headquarters after less than three years in business.

Victory Fasteners Ltd has taken on unit 4, Dunstall Hill Estate, Wolverhampton, after agreeing a five-year lease.

The expansion comes just two and half a years after the company was set up by Vic Waddison and Allan Stennett at unit 5, a 5,027 sq ft premises, which adjoins their new unit.

Managing director Vic said that the additional space enables Victory Fasteners to install its own in-house machine shop, which has created two additional positions for Capstan machine operators. The expansion also means it can take on a goods inwards operative, a quality inspector and a purchasing assistant, to complement its existing eight employees.

“An increase in demand for high quality industrial fasteners both in the UK and overseas has led to us needing to double our stockholding space,” he said.

“By expanding the business, we are now in a stronger position to have a wider and deeper stock range that will service our existing customers and will also help us to attract new business.”

Vic added: “We settled into our Dunstall Hill home very quickly and were keen to remain here because it provides exactly the right environment we need. It is also ideally placed for finding the right quality of engineers that we need for the processing of unfinished products.”

Victory Fasteners, which exports to 65 countries, uses 95% European-manufactured stock from quality assured sources and its range includes finished and semi-finished components.

Paula James, industrial lettings manager, said: “When the adjoining unit became available, it provided Victory Fasteners with the ideal opportunity to put into action its expansion plans and we were only too pleased to assist. The company is now in an excellent position to continue growing its business.”
