Shoppers at the Churchill Centre, Dudley, have a new place to enjoy a coffee and delicious food after leading UK bakery food-on-the-go retailer, Greggs doubled the size of its store.

The bakery has taken over unit 12, which was adjacent to its existing store, and completeda major refurbishment.

The new format means that shoppers can dine in at the 4,214 sq ft store as well as take away food and drinks.

The store has agreed a new lease with London & Cambridge Properties (LCP), which owns and manages the shopping centre.

Rob Heald, retail asset manager for LCP, said: “We are thrilled that Greggs has confirmed its commitment to the Churchill Centre by doubling its space. When the unit became vacant, it quickly took the opportunity to undertake a comprehensive revamp with excellent new facilities for customers.”

Raymond Reynolds, Retail Director at Greggs, commented: “We’ve had a strong presence in Dudley for over 20 years and our dedicated team are excited to welcome customers, old and new, to enjoy our brilliant new facilities.”
