LCP has acquired a fourth unit at a Nottingham industrial estate, a year after purchasing the adjoining three blocks.

The acquisition of block D, at Queens Drive Industrial Estate, Crossgate Drive, means we now manage A, B, C and D, totalling more than 150,000 sq ft of industrial units.

We are now investing about £200,000 by refurbishing void units C7 and C8 and marketing them to attract new tenants.

Paula James, industrial lettings manager, said the latest acquisition is part of our commitment to boosting the industrial and retail portfolio as part of a programme of strategic growth over the next few years.

“We have been actively seeking suitable premises that we can acquire and add value to and this particular industrial acquisition is a good example of that. It’s a new area for us, too, not having invested in industrial premises in Nottingham before,” she said.

“The four units are undergoing a substantial refurbishment now and they are already being marketed. We are anticipating considerable interest in them.”

Blocks A-D are suitable for B1 (light industrial), B2 (general industrial) and B8 (warehousing) use. Currently available units range from 12,439 – 14,025 sq ft, they are available individually or combined and come with good-sized secure rear yards, car parking at the front and two-storey office and ancillary space.

Queen’s Drive Industrial Estate is a popular industrial estate, close to Nottingham city centre, less than eight miles from the M1.
