Cheetham Hill Shopping Centre in Manchester is hosting a family night with live entertainment and shopping this Sunday (August 19) for Eid.

The Celebrating Eid Al Adha event starts at 7pm, when shops in the Asian Shopping Plaza will be open and stalls selling fashion, jewellery, food and henna will also tempt shoppers for the most important Muslim celebration of the year.

Free three-hour car parking will be available and to keep the crowds entertained, there will be live sets throughout the evening from Ranbir Daskai, Shubrah, Asif Khan, Ray, and Jennifer Franklin.

Steve Pell, asset manager of Cheetham Hill Shopping Centre, which is managed by national commercial property and investment company LCP, said: “After the hugely successful Eid Al Fitr celebration earlier this year, we are delighted to host another special evening for Eid Al Adha, which promises to be a great night of fun and entertainment for the whole family. We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone.”

The Celebrating Eid Al Adha event ends at 2am on Monday, August 20.

Cheetham Hill has 135,000 sq ft of retail space, which is anchored by a Tesco Superstore. Other tenants include Costa Coffee, Savers, Card Factory and Cash Converters.
