A nationwide convenience store has opened at a vibrant shopping parade in Bebington, Wirral, after agreeing a 15-year lease with commercial property and investment company LCP.

Londis has fitted out unit 2c, Church Road, a parade that is owned by the property company, and opened this week.

Rakesh Joshi, associate director at LCP, said: “We’ve invested in refurbishing the units at this popular neighbourhood parade, which, with nearby retailers, attracts high footfall, and are pleased to welcome Londis. We’re in also in talks with other potential tenants and hope to announce further lettings soon.”

Church Road comprises 18,327 sq ft of retail space and Londis joins Jones & Chapman and Barnado’s. With Londis opening, there are just four vacant units from 238 sq ft to 7,125 sq ft, one of which is under offer.

For details about the vacant units, contact the marketing agents: Lee Quinn and Chris Houghton from Mason and Partners (leequinn@masonpartners.com and chrishoughton@masonpartners.com) and Dan Wild from BA Commercial (dan.wild@bacommercial.com).

Richard Honick, in-house senior solicitor at LCP, completed the transaction.
