LCP in Poland has celebrated the acquisition of four retail assets and is looking forward to finalising adding three more into its portfolio in the coming weeks.

Park Handlowy Prudnik is the 70th scheme in our portfolio. Located at the junction of national roads no. 40 and 41, just at the entrance to the city from Opole direction, it is the largest retail and service space in the region.

The single-storey retail park in partnership, with food operator Biedronka, comprises more than 8,500 sq m space and is fully let to 13 tenants: Biedronka, Sinsay, 4F, 50 Style, Pepco, Top Secret, Martes Sport, Pet Shop, Kik, CCC, Smyk and Deichman and Rossmann.

A Bricomarché construction shop is also planning to open there at the end of  2022, offering a wide range of products for the home and garden. There is also a car park for 500 vehicles, with separate spaces for bicycles.

We have also acquired a Biedronka grocery shop in Warsaw and another small retail park located in the Lublin region, which is located next to a large grocery store and has three tenants.

The final acquisition is in Lubawa. This fully commercialised project with a building permit has more than 2,800 sqm of GLA and 143 parking spaces. We will develop a new LIDL shop, which will sit alongside main tenants Rossman, Tedi, Martes Sport, Pepco and Dealz.

We are now in the final stages of acquiring a further three schemes, which we hope to announce in the spring and which will significantly strengthen our property portfolio.

Krystian Modrzejewski, LCP Group Operations Director, said: “2021 was an intensive year for LCP and  full of purchase transactions. In 2022, we plan to expand into development projects, of which the SBU projects in Bydgoszcz and Gda?sk are excellent examples already. We have further construction projects planned. Thanks to them, the value of our investments in Poland will reach EUR 450 million at the end of 2022.”
