HOWDENS JOINERY 'OVER THE MOON'

Howdens Joinery, the leading supplier of kitchens and joinery products, has opened its first trade counter in Haverhill, Suffolk, after locating to Moonhall Business Park.

The nationwide company, which has more than 550 depots across the country, has taken a 15-year lease on three refurbished units, totalling 8,476 sq ft, as part of its expansion plans.

Fit-out works are underway at the high quality, modern space, which includes roller shutter doors, a yard area at the front and parking facilities, ready for the store to open in March.

Moonhall Business Park is an established industrial area in Helions Bumpstead Road, adjacent to the A1017 Haverhill Bypass. Other tenants include Thermosafe, Feelgood Fitness, Everlac and Plumb Centre.

Mark Churchill, head of property at Howdens Joinery, said: “We have been looking for the right premises in Haverhill for some time and this new depot will enable us to grow our local business. We are very pleased to be opening at Moonhall Business Park as part of our on-going expansion programme.”
