BUSINESS SETS UP IN BLACK COUNTRY

A national giftware company has expanded by opening a new business in the Black Country to sell metal signs and wall art to the trade.

Red Hot Lemon Ltd, part of family-run Somerset-based Fiesta Studios, has moved to Unit 28, The Springfield Estate, Oldbury, after agreeing a five-year lease.

The 5,530 sq ft unit comprises warehouse space with 626 sq ft of office and ancillary areas.

The company, a trade-only business that sells British designed tinplate and steel wall plaques and signs to wholesalers and retail stockists, has already created three jobs but the unit provides ample scope for rapid growth, said Jo Willis, company manager of Red Hot Lemon.

“It has great access to the local motorway junction in Oldbury, and it also has a great outside parking area for our containers to offload,” she said.

“We had been let down by a few companies for buildings we had selected so LCP ensured the process was as easy as possible with few hitches. Paula James, with whom we liaised, is an asset to her team and one of the massive selling points to us with dealing with LCP.”
