ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR SHORTLISTED IN INAUGURAL PROPERTY AWARDS

Nick Bryson, Associate Director, has been shortlisted for the Rising Star category in the first Variety Club Midlands Props Awards.

The Midlands Props Awards build on the success of the London Props Awards, which were launched in 1992 and have raised more than £10.5 million for the Variety Club, which supports children and young people throughout the UK.

Nick, who is based in our Pensnett headquarters and joined the company in January 2020, is responsible for more than 20 industrial sites – totalling 3.3 million sq ft, across the UK.

He is one of three professionals to make the hotly contested shortlist.

James Buchanan, Managing Director, said: “Since joining us two years ago, Nick has done a tremendous job in transforming Burntwood Business Park, which became fully let in December 2021 for the first time since we acquired the property in 1989.

“He also developed a new strategy for the Business Park and identified five future development sites all while increasing tenant diversity, and across his portfolio in 2021 completed 40 new lettings and 15 lease renewals in 2021 reducing the void rate from 5.9% to less than 0.8%.

“We’re proud of Nick’s achievements and its testament to his hard work that he has been recognised as a rising star. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for him at the awards ceremony.”

The awards ceremony takes place on Thursday, 28 April 2022 at Birmingham’s Grand Hotel.
