DONATE A TOY THIS CHRISTMAS AT CHIPPENHAM COMMUNITY HUB IN BOROUGH PARADE

As families gear up for Christmas, Borough Parade in Chippenham is inviting local shoppers to donate a toy to a less fortunate child.

The Chippenham Community Hub is hosting a 'Teach the Children Well' appeal, which is collecting gifts for local children who might not receive a gift this year. Gifts can now be dropped off and they will be distributed by ‘Fighting Hunger with Food Waste’.

Sue Rios, from Borough Parade, which is owned and managed by national commercial property and investment company Evolve Estates which is part of the LCP Group, said: “Christmas can be a challenging time for many families and along with the wonderful generosity from the community we’ll be helping to make sure as many children as possible will wake up to a toy this Christmas.”

The Community Hub is also opening its Santa's Post Box from Monday, November 28. Youngsters can write a letter to Santa with their name and address and he will make sure that they receive a reply before the big day. Last day for posting is Monday, December 19 at 3pm.
