London and Cambridge Properties (LCP) has appointed a new asset manager to help strengthen its retail team.

Rob Heald has joined LCP from DTZ, where he worked in its retail asset management department.

With almost 15 years’ national commercial property management experience under his belt, Rob has an in-depth understanding of the retail industry, most asset property types and styles.

Having worked with a wide range of shopping centres, town centre schemes, as well as retail parks, supermarket anchored schemes, retail parades and factory outlet centres, he brings a wealth of experience to the LCP team.

“I am excited by the opportunity to work directly for a major property owner to gain further exposure in the strategic management of their shopping centres with potential to develop techniques and experience with the aim to maximise returns,” said Rob.

“The role provides an ideal opportunity to increase my involvement in developing the assets through intensive management.”

Welcoming Rob to LCP, asset manager Jo Salmon said: “This is an exciting time for us as we look to strengthen our retail team.

“We pride ourselves on delivering a superlative service to our tenants and Rob will enable us to maintain the high standards that they have rightly come to expect.”
