A growing Scottish company that creates its own e-liquids for vapes is to open a new store at the Galleries, Washington.

Prime Vapour is opening its ninth branch at unit 45a, a 450 sq ft shop that has been newly refurbished and is in a prominent part of the centre, next to Ramdens and Ladbrokes. It has signed a five-year deal for the unit with LCP, part of M Core, the commercial property and investment company that manages the centre.

Simon Eatough, Director for Landlord and tenant at LCP, said: “We’ve had a successful six months at the Galleries, topped by Prime Vapour agreeing to open here. They are the fifth new tenant to open this year, joining You Know Who’s, Klass, Durham Bed Centre and One Beyond. We’re looking forward to welcoming new brands at the popular shopping centre as 2023 continues.”

The Galleries has more than 100 retailers and services over 535,000 sq ft, is anchored by Asda and Sainsbury’s and has an annual footfall of 10.5 million.

It also has 2,500 free car parking spaces and a dedicated bus station.
